Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team at Redline Trucking. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, including salary, benefits, and working conditions
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring
  • Coordinate interviews and selection processes, ensuring that all necessary steps are followed
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, and negotiate employment terms
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring that all employees are aware of their rights and responsibilities
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
