Job Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate materials such as copper bearings, wire harnesses, and other scrap metal for recycling
- Operate and maintain mobile equipment, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues
- Monitor and report on the operating condition of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Complete and submit checklists and equipment care documents as required
- Work in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to achieve production goals
- Assist with maintenance tasks, including planned and unplanned repairs, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Participate in plant housekeeping efforts, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good attendance and work ethic, with a strong commitment to teamwork and communication
- Previous experience in heavy industry or manufacturing preferred
