Job Responsibilities:

  • Hand pick and sort materials such as copper bearings, wire harnesses, rags, and other scrap metal into designated containers.
  • Operate and maintain mobile equipment, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues to management.
  • Monitor and report on the operating condition of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Complete and submit checklists and equipment care documents as required.
  • Work in a standing or static position for extended periods, rotating shifts, and wearing heavy clothing and PPE as needed.
  • Assist in maintenance tasks, support production efficiency, and participate in plant housekeeping efforts.
  • Follow safety guidelines when operating mobile equipment and perform daily checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good attendance and work ethic.
  • Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
  • Previous experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
