Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mobile equipment, including shredders and conveyors, to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime.
- Inspect and report on the operating condition of production equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and repairs, to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor and report on production metrics, including output and quality, to support process improvements.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operation and meeting production targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
