About the Role:

The Inventory Lead at Laura Canada is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of inventory within the store. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a well-organized store environment, which directly impacts the customer experience and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and unpacking merchandise, scanning backstock, and placing items on the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Executing the daily pick and pack process to fulfill online orders, ensuring sufficient supplies are available to meet demand.
  • Maintaining stockroom inventory accuracy through the iPad application and conducting daily replenishment of items sold from within the store.
  • Adjusting ticketed prices for selected merchandise storewide during markdowns.
  • Preparing stock for transfer to other stores according to company standards.
  • Maintaining receiving and stock areas, and assisting with operational activities such as cashier duties and other POS tasks.
  • Leading or guiding other associates in stock-related functions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Sense of urgency, advanced computer skills, and ability to work as a team player.
  • Demonstrates initiative, is exceptionally organized, and can lift approximately 20-50 lbs of product/boxes.
