Job Title: Transport Driver

We are seeking a skilled Transport Driver to join our team at Total Site Services Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including lighter and special purpose trucks, to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive lighter and special purpose trucks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Logistics and Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week, with a focus on attention to detail, repetitive tasks, and sitting.
