About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at TD, a global leader in the financial services industry. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end architectural solutions that are reliable, scalable, and secure.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and platform teams to develop architecture visions that enable business outcomes.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as an organizational or subject matter expert, helping to identify risk and provide guidance for significant and complex situations.
  • Monitor and report on the status of products/projects and applications within assigned product, ensuring projects are compliant with technology domain architecture and designs/operates processes to provide ongoing review of in-progress activity against technology architecture and development standards.
  • Foresee architectural issues/gaps and identify emerging industry trends to recommend value-added architectural improvements that will alleviate technology debt and build resilient solutions.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 10+ years relevant experience owning and developing architectural solutions and architectural strategies for a variety of platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Guidewire Suite, Guidewire Cloud Platform, ideally with relevant certifications and previous experience integrating with Guidewire.
  • Guidewire Claims Center knowledge an added asset.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and/or Test-Driven Development is an asset (i.e., ability to author Unit, Integration and Functional Tests).
  • Demonstrated experience with leading technical tools integration in a complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with SAFe agile methodology.
  • Azure/AWS cloud knowledge.
