About the Team
We are seeking a skilled Datastage Developer to contribute to the Global Finance & Risk Technology division.
Is this position a fit for you? In this role, you will:
- Formulate strategies for Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes.
- Design server jobs utilizing various stages such as Sequential file, ODBC, Hashed file, Aggregator, Transformer, Sort, Link Partitioner, and Link Collector.
- Integrate diverse data sources (DB2-UDB, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Oracle, Teradata, XML, and MS-Access) into the data staging area.
- Utilize Data Stage Manager, Designer, Administrator, and Director effectively.
- Examine the data produced by business processes, defining granularity, source-to-target mapping of data elements, and creating indexes and aggregate tables for data warehouse design and development.
- Investigate data dependencies using metadata stored in the repository and prepare batches for existing sessions to facilitate the scheduling of multiple sessions.
- Resolve issues with Data Stage jobs and address production challenges such as performance tuning and enhancements.
- Engage in database programming for Data Warehouses (Schemas), demonstrating proficiency in dimensional modeling.
- Execute UNIX shell scripts using K-shell for process automation and schedule Data Stage jobs using wrappers.
- Employ software configuration management tools like Rational Clear case/Clear quest for version control.
- Demonstrate experience in Data Modeling and reverse engineering using tools such as Erwin, Oracle Designer, MS Visio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, SSRS, and stored procedures.

- Experience with OFSAA FSDF.
- Ability to research and resolve data-related issues within the OFSAA environment.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 12C/19C, SQL, PL SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with OFSAA Data Foundation, Business Metadata management, and Data Management Tools, including T2Ts, File Extracts, Data Quality Framework, Data Entry Forms and Queries, Excel uploads, Atomic Schema Uploads, and workflows in OFSAA.
- Experience with ERWIN DATA MODEL.
- Experience in sourcing data from multiple systems.
- Exposure to Autosys.
- Data warehousing expertise.
- Willingness to provide on-call production support as necessary.
