About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EAP Clinical Counsellor to join our team at Workplace Options LLC. As a key member of our global wellbeing solutions team, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling services to clients, demonstrating empathy and a warm approach to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  • Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling, utilizing your expertise in clinical assessment tools and modalities.
  • Manage high-risk calls, working closely with individuals at risk, and collaboratively develop clear and concise treatment plans for clients.
  • Refer clients to external resources or within our organization as part of our holistic approach to wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in our case management system.
Requirements
  • Social worker, Counsellor, or Psychologist with a Master's degree and relevant licensure or clinical certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct client-contact experience providing counseling or mental health services.
  • Experience delivering counselling services in French and English, with a strong proficiency in both languages.
  • Training in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is beneficial.
  • Ability to work with clients presenting with substance abuse, crisis situations, mental health symptoms, and/or family/relationship-related concerns impacting personal or work performance.
