Clinical Counsellor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our team at Skerrett Psychology Professional Corporation. As a Clinical Counsellor, you will work with clients to help them achieve personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine client behaviour and develop treatment plans
  • Interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems
  • Record observations and maintain accurate records
  • Provide therapy and counselling services to individuals and groups
  • Implement treatment plans and follow up on results
  • Liaise with community agencies and provide referrals as needed
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Membership with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association
  • Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial, or territorial professional association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
