Associate, Middle Office Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate, Middle Office Operations to join our team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our middle office functions, including trade processing, reconciliation, and client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and oversee reconciliation technology to provide accurate and timely Gross NAV to clients.
- Ensure trade processing is complete, corporate actions are booked correctly, and security definitions and pricing are accurate.
- Oversee any PL anomalies, identify the reasons, and implement solutions.
- Review pricing of portfolios with multiple asset classes, including exchange traded and OTC Securities.
- Respond to client queries and manage the new client onboarding process.
- Ensure SLAs are strictly followed and proactively escalate any potential problems.
- Work with custodians and other third-parties on an ongoing basis and provide feedback to management.
- Communicate operational issues and escalate to Associate Director as necessary.
- Maintain a good relationship with client contacts and respond to client queries.
- Take responsibility for being the point of operations contact for allocated funds.
- Oversight of reconciliation and data transmission technology.
- Strictly follow MUFG standards, procedures, and controls while performing the job.
- University degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Math, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Creativity in exploring solutions to improve daily operational efficiency.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Products.
- Strong understanding of market practices, accounting methods, and P&L calculations of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, and OTC products.
- Passion to improve processes and increase efficiency.
