About this role

We are seeking a skilled Security Technician to join our Kelowna Field team at Houle Electric Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable power solutions for our customers.

Your responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to achieve results.
  • Lead technical teams and provide guidance on electrical and security systems.
  • Install, program, and maintain Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion/Burglar Alarms, Networks, and Communication electronics.
  • Interpret plans and design documents to ensure accurate installations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including after-hours and on-call shifts.
Your experience and skills
  • Security TQ/Security License and/or Certified Electrician.
  • Active IBEW 213 Membership or willingness to become a member.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible for security clearance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon systems is an asset.
  • Healthcare system experience is a plus.
