We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Cost Estimator Specialist to join our team at West Experts Renovation Ltd.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with our experienced team in providing accurate and reliable cost estimates for construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, including labour and material costs, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labour and material costs;
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and provide recommendations to clients;
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements;
  • Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients;
  • Project cash flow and financing requirements to ensure accurate estimates;
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms;
  • Advise on tendering procedures and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems;
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities;
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field;
