Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator - Project Feasibility Specialist

Sunlight Excavating Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing estimates for construction projects and providing economic feasibility studies.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to analyze tenders, recommend awards, and monitor contract expenditures. If you have experience in preparing estimates, working with blueprints, and liaising with engineers, architects, and contractors, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs, including general expenses and overheads.
  • Economic Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough economic feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed projects.
  • Tender Analysis: Analyze tenders, recommend awards, and ensure that contracts are executed efficiently.
  • Contract Management: Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in construction cost estimation or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in estimating software and tools.
