Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team, and contribute to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver health education programs and provide supportive counseling and life skills programming.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct disease screening and provide immunization programs.
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment.
- Provide nursing care and supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
- Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure.
