- Current active practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course completion
- Emergency Practice, Interventions & Care, Canada (EPICC) Foundations Level
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) course
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) Rhythm Analysis course
- Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) knowledge
- Proficiency in clindoc documentation system
- Two (2) years recent experience in an applicable department/unit/program
- Working knowledge of Windows-based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
- Satisfactory employment record required
- Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment Policy (HR may be waived for internal candidates with current checks on file)
