Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled line cook to join our team at MB PAM INC. as an Executive Chef.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- They will also prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, as well as special meals for patients as instructed by dietitians or chefs.
- Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment is also a crucial aspect of this role.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- In addition to these responsibilities, the Executive Chef will be required to order supplies and equipment and organize buffets and banquets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances;
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef;
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food;
- Order supplies and equipment;
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment;
- Clean kitchen and work areas;
- Organize buffets and banquets;
- Work Term: Permanent;
- Work Language: English;
- Hours: 35 hours per week;
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Will train;
