Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Elk + Avenue Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
- Culinary Leadership
- Supervise and mentor our culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with our kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in an appealing and visually appealing manner.
- Food Safety and Quality Control
- Ensure that all food preparation and handling procedures are followed to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Inventory Management
- Manage our kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
- Education and Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in menu planning, culinary leadership, and food safety and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our culinary team and other hotel departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
