Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care to join our Surgical Services team at Fort St. John Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with our hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan patient care, implementing and evaluating nursing practice activities to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Surgical Services Team Lead and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing practice standards.
Requirements:
• Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
• One year of experience in surgical nursing within the past five years, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to promote safe, competent patient care and establish effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
