OJ's Cold Lake Inc. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management and sales data.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to maintain a smooth service flow.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
The Kitchen Manager will work in a noisy, hot, and odorous environment with a fast-paced workflow. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism is essential.
