Job Overview:

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly experienced economic policy specialist to join the Policy Unit in the Strategic Policy and Analysis Branch as a Senior Corporate Policy Analyst.

About the Role:

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic environment on economic policy issues, advancing the economic competitiveness and value-added sectors of the province. As a senior policy analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis, providing policy advice, leading cross-ministry projects, and communicating complex economic concepts to various audiences.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must have highly developed research and analysis capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building and influencing skills are also essential, as well as experience coordinating complex files and projects. A post-secondary education in business, economics, public administration, or a related area, combined with experience in government policy analysis, is typically required.

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $44,410-$55,654 hourly, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Government of Saskatchewan values workplace diversity and offers a supportive and inclusive work environment. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with one day off every two weeks. Two positions are available, and the closing date for applications is November 22, 2024.
