Job Summary

The Medical Device Reprocessing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient processing of medical equipment and supplies, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the medical device reprocessing team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of medical device reprocessing services.
  • Provide training and education to staff on proper processing and handling of medical devices.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of processing activities, including inventory management and quality control metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device reprocessing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical device reprocessing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
