About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Support Specialist to join our team at Dr. K. Keem Dentistry Professional Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient dental practice.
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to meet the highest standards of dental hygiene.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and promote good oral health practices.
  • Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant to protect teeth and prevent decay.
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays to aid in the creation of accurate dental impressions.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures to provide patients with a natural-looking and functional smile.
  • Take and develop X-rays to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues.
  • Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts to create accurate models of patients' teeth and gums.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic dental environment with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
  • Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure a seamless and efficient patient experience.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role and work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Meet the requirements of a permanent position with a regular schedule and benefits.
  • Work in a bilingual environment with English as the primary language spoken.
  • Work a regular schedule with 30 to 44 hours per week.
