About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Yorkville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the procedures.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure we have the necessary materials to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene by providing personalized advice and guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Take and develop X-rays to assist in diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
  • Invoice patients for dental services in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Physically demanding role that requires standing for long periods and lifting equipment.

  • Work Term: Permanent with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
