Windsor Operations Director for Land Development and Municipal Engineering

WSP Canada is currently seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team in Windsor. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team, driving growth and success in the region.
About the JobThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and technical expertise. As Operations Director, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a high-performing team of professionals in land development and municipal engineering projects
- Developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Windsor market
- Managing client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery
We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting environments, specifically in Windsor land development projects. Your expertise in project management, financial management, and client relationship building will be essential in driving our business forward.
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with registration as a P.Eng. in Ontario. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a valid driver's license in Ontario, will also be beneficial in this role.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptual planning and design to construction management and client handover. Our team prides itself on its long-standing relationships with clients and partners across Ontario and Canada.
Requirements- 10+ years of experience in consulting environments, focused on Windsor land development projects
- Extensive project management experience on land development and municipal engineering projects
- Registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario
- Expert knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario, with emphasis on the Windsor region
- Strong client management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial and project management skills
- Valid driver's license in Ontario
The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000 per year, depending on experience. WSP Canada offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
