Operations Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering Lead

WSP is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team in Windsor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic planning, team building, business development, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share for WSP in Land Development and Municipal Engineering
- Build and manage a high-performing team in the Windsor office
- Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Lead business development efforts with existing and new clients, including proposal preparation and contract negotiation
- Oversee the management of projects to ensure client expectations and WSP standards are met
- Act as a liaison between clients and approving authorities to ensure project approvals
- Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and cost control
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment, with a focus on land development projects in Windsor
- Extensive project management experience in land development and municipal engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Expert knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario, with a focus on the Windsor region
- Strong client management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial and project management skills
- Valid driver's license in Ontario
- Well-developed network within the land development industry
