Lifemark Health Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis in our Synergy Health Centre clinic.
About the Role:
- Provide assessment, consultation, and psychoeducational services to clients with various psychological and physical diagnoses.
- Participate in regular team conferences to discuss client progress and develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with staff members, clients, employers, referral sources, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to psychological case management, including initial assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Develop and maintain high-quality reports and communication with stakeholders.
- Provide orientation and mentoring to support team members in managing clients' psychosocial issues.
Requirements:
- Masters in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
- Professional registration with the applicable college or association.
- Ability to use creative and structured approaches to assist clients in self-management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make fair, practical, and objective decisions about best solutions to problems.
