Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tokyo Express Meadowlark Mall. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are trained and equipped to provide it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
  • Staff Management
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client-focused with efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
