**About the Role**

Meridian, a leading financial institution, is seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Wealth Management group, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized plans to meet their objectives.
  • Regularly review and update clients' plans to ensure they remain aligned with their goals and best interests.
  • Provide expert advice on investment options and costs, helping clients make informed decisions about their financial futures.
  • Help clients balance asset acquisition with liquidity needs, ensuring they have a stable financial foundation.
  • Stay up-to-date on key wealth and retail banking products and services, providing clients with the most relevant and effective solutions.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Current MFDA licensing, with the potential to obtain IIROC licensing.
  • Active pursuit or achievement of PFP, CFP, CIM, TEP, or relevant designations.
  • Strong knowledge of investment, tax, and wealth management strategies.
