Job Title: Administrative Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
  • Record Management: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Office Services: Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Data Entry: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, and perform data entry.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, monitor and evaluate, and oversee payroll administration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
