About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Blackpepper Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus for special events and daily service, ensuring that dishes are of the highest quality and meet the expectations of our customers.

Cooking and Food Preparation

Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian and Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh ingredients and adhering to strict food safety standards.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Team Leadership

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their dining experience and that their needs are met.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Environment

Restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
