Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in care conferences and assist with orientation of new staff and students as required.
  • Respond to and report on patient/resident needs and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing LPN registrant.
  • Current basic cardiac life support certification.
