About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our teams and projects in the Northern Ontario region. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for managing projects, building relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise and network
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
  • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and reports, showcasing your expertise and AECOM's capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive project success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus 8 years of consulting experience in municipal infrastructure or water resources projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible to register within 6-12 months
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of consulting experience in municipal infrastructure or water resources projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience in project management, team leadership, and business development
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations
