Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage programs and services to meet the needs of our athletes and coaches.
- Provide technical and professional advice to our coaches and athletes to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Recruit and manage professional coaches and athletes to ensure we have the best talent on our teams.
- Organize and administer national and provincial programs, including training, coaching, and officiating.
- Manage the daily operations of our sport or recreational organization, including budgeting and financial management.
- Direct fundraising drives and arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations.
- Negotiate business contracts and agreements.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering high-quality programs and services to our athletes and coaches. As a Sports Director, you will be required to work in a non-smoking environment and be willing to work outdoors and in a variety of settings.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:32-40 hours per week.
