Sports Director Job Description

New Frontier Soccer Academy Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Director to lead our soccer programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing programs and services, providing technical and professional advice, and recruiting professional coaches and athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage programs and services to meet the needs of our soccer community
  • Provide technical and professional advice to coaches, athletes, and staff
  • Recruit and manage professional coaches and athletes to ensure the highest level of competition
  • Organize and administer national and provincial programs, including training, coaching, and officiating
  • Manage the daily operations of our soccer organization, including budgeting and financial management
  • Direct fundraising drives and negotiate sponsorships with public and private organizations
  • Negotiate business contracts and manage relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of environments
Work Environment:

The Sports Director will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
