Department Head Retail Store

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at DL Pharmacy Incorporated. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, including sales workers, apprentices, and volunteers.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Authorize payments, returns, and other financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is adequate to meet customer demand.
- Manage cash and other financial transactions, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 1-6 months of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a retail business environment.
Supervision:You will be supervising 3-4 people in this role.
