About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Professional to join our team at MAPLEWOOD LANDSCAPING LTD. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Implement Landscaping Designs: Develop and implement creative landscaping designs for residential and commercial properties, taking into account client preferences and site conditions.
  • Tree Care and Maintenance: Trim, prune, and maintain trees to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Lawn and Garden Maintenance: Water, fertilize, and tend to lawns and gardens to ensure they remain healthy and well-maintained.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and pruners.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to provide updates on project progress.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoor work environment, including exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
