Highly Skilled Home Care Nurse

About the RoleWe are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at Bayshore Home Care Solutions, Hamilton Branch. Our nurses enjoy a flexible work environment that utilizes their expertise and skills to provide quality care.
This role requires critical thinking and advanced wound care skills, among others. As an RN, you will provide skilled clinical care in the client home setting, working closely with clients and their families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
We offer a variety of shifts, including full-time positions with a rotating schedule. This includes Monday to Friday from 1pm to 9pm, as well as every other weekend rotation. Additionally, you may be required to participate in on-call rotations, with one night shift per month from 11pm to 7am.
You will also need to have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, as you will be traveling to client homes throughout the Greater Hamilton Area.
What You'll Be DoingAs an RN at Bayshore HealthCare, you will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients by providing high-quality nursing care in their own communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching for chronic disease prevention.
- Developing holistic care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Teaching, delegating tasks, and maintaining industry-leading practice standards.

To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a registered nurse with a degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold a current membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Maintain updated immunization records and undergo a clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Consider Leap Training or Palliative Certificate an asset.
