Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on topics such as pacing, pain management, and cognitive behavioral strategies.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • 1-5 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
