About the Role

Lifemark is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing clients' physical and cognitive functioning, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning within the clinic setting, including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities evaluations.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred).
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.
