Restaurant Server Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the face of our food and beverage experience, providing exceptional service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Have a thorough knowledge of our menu, beverage lists, and promotions, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other service staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Possess and maintain a valid Serving it Right Certification.
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
