Job Description

As a member of our growing Digital Advisory, Software Development, Data, Geospatial team in Canada, you will lead and/or deliver technical digital solutions related to environmental, planning, and infrastructure aspects of local, national, and international projects.

You will work as part of a diverse, digitally minded team on projects of various types and scales, regularly cross-collaborating with other multi-disciplinary Arup teams and working closely with our clients to advise and shape a better world, one project at a time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading digital support and solutions on rail / transit / infrastructure projects, including direct-to-client consulting.
  • Collaborating with client engagement and digital advisory, including current state & gap assessments, strategy and roadmap, requirements gathering, options analysis.
  • Developing strong team coordination, project leadership, and time management skills to ensure seamless and quality delivery.
  • Communicating effectively with consideration of the interests and technical competency of a specific audience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree or certificate/diploma in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar digital discipline.
  • Twelve or more (12+) years of demonstrated previous experience leading, coordinating, and delivering digital support and solutions on rail / transit / infrastructure projects, including direct-to-client consulting.
  • Technical expertise in areas such as supporting the practical application of GIS, geospatial technologies, BIM, database architecture/design, and formal information management methods, data science (AI/ML), full-stack software application development, and automation processes in support of project delivery and client teams in multi-disciplinary scopes of work.
