Job Summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Finance Project Manager to join our team. As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and delivering best practices and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and transfer knowledge on project financials to Line Manager and Project Manager.
  • Manage collection and dispute management processes and collaborate with project stakeholders, including the Legal Department.
  • Continuously monitor and improve processes for project reporting, administration, and control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to train colleagues.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and their objectives.
  • Maintain/update project reporting information using Power BI tools.
  • Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and update Collections Module to help forecast timing of invoicing, and estimated collection dates.
  • Role requires the applicant to be flexible and able to multi-task as deliverable requirements can change rapidly.
  • Participate in monthly project reviews on major projects to ensure the Project is accurately reporting the financials each month and gain an understanding of key concerns the project delivery team has.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis.
  • Ensure you are familiar and compliant with Healthy and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Relevant accounting degree.
  • Post-graduate qualifications an advantage (CPA/CA/CIMA).
  • Demonstrated technical, commercial, and delivery acumen.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally.
  • The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
