Front Desk Reception Agent

Are you a hospitality professional looking to advance your skills and abilities? As a Front Desk Reception Agent at Fairmont Banff Springs, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to provide outstanding service and create lasting memories for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Greet, check-in/check-out, and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
  • Document guest requests, complaints, or issues and notify designated department/personnel for resolution
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities and respond to their inquiries
  • Drive rate through up-selling room brands
  • Follow departmental and hotel policies, procedures, service, and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, early mornings, and overnights
  • Previous experience in Front Desk or customer service is an asset
  • Previous Property Management System (PMS) experience is an asset
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal and written), second language is an asset
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
