Job Title: Hotel Night Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Hampton Inn by Hilton Sudbury.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of hotel transactions, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or motel setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software
