At Health Careers in Sask, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pathology Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team.



The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen collection and pre-analytical specimen handling/processing, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and sample integrity.



As a Pathology Laboratory Support Specialist, you will work independently, utilizing your intermediate data entry skills, strong communication skills, and basic computer skills to effectively manage laboratory operations.



This is a part-time regular position, with a salary range of $23.370 to $25.040 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The estimated annual salary for this position is $72,851.20 to $80,640.00.



Responsibilities:


  • Specimen collection and pre-analytical specimen handling/processing
  • Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and sample integrity
  • Managing laboratory operations, utilizing intermediate data entry skills and strong communication skills
  • Working independently, with minimal supervision


Requirements:


  • Medical Laboratory Assistant - Applied certificate
  • Intermediate - Data entry skills

  • Ability to work independently
