About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Saskatchewan Health Authority (Prince Albert). As a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Job Description

This permanent position involves working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders, as well as psychiatric disorders. Your expertise may also involve conducting medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and prescribing medication and treatment.

In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases. Additionally, you may act as a consultant to other physicians, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and physiological disorders

  • Prescribe medication and treatment
