Job Title: Chief Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Buyer to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for procurement activities.
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records and ensure efficient stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in database software, spreadsheet, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
