Job Title: Chief Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Procurement Officer to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited.

Job Summary:

The Chief Procurement Officer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring adequate stock levels. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel.
