Job Title: Chief Procurement Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Procurement Officer to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers
  • Maintain adequate stock levels
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel
